How to create/edit a questionnaire?

In this article, you will become familiar with the following information:


  • To create a survey, click the button in the upper right corner.
  • To edit the survey, click the corresponding icon in the list.

 

 

If you need to create a survey with the same settings as an already created survey, click on the copy icon next to that survey. A Create a questionnaire  page will open with all the configured fields. You can make changes to the settings if necessary.

 

 

The Create a questionnaire page will open. On the left side of the page, you can customize the content. Text fields and catalogs are filled in by the system by default. They can be edited.

The resulting changes can be tracked in the preview on the phone, which is located on the right side of the page. In this mode, it shows how the client will see the pages for leaving assessment and review when clicking on a QR code.

After creating the QR code, a unified code and a separate code for each company are generated for you. If clients scan the unified QR code, they will see a page where they can choose the company to evaluate.

  • To view changes to the survey of individual QR codes for each company, select the From QR Code tab above the preview screen.
  • To view changes to the survey of the unified QR code for all companies, select the From Multi QR Code tab. In this case, a company selection page will be added to the preview.

Attention! If you have incorrectly filled out the fields on the page, for example, by providing an incorrect email or website link, the data will not be displayed in the preview.

To switch the preview pages on the phone back and forth, you need to click on the arrows located on both sides of the preview. 

 

 

If at least one of the required fields is filled out incorrectly or is completely empty, or if no platform for leaving a review is selected, an error will be displayed in the preview window with the message Fill in all fields with correct values.

 

 

 


 

Main settings

 

First, add/edit the questionnaire title.

 

 

  • Set the checkmark Quick access to the company profile if you want customers who scanned the QR code to immediately open the company card in the selected catalog. In other words, the pages presented in the preview window will not be displayed, and the company profile in the source will open immediately.
  • You can hide the display of the page for evaluating the visits to your company. To do this, check the box for Do not collect ratings in the survey. In this case, the fields related to the company's rating left by the client will be unavailable for completion.
  • To display the address of the company being rated in each survey, you can check the box for Display the address of the assessed company in the questionnaire.

 

 

After checking the box for Quick access to the company profile, select one directory that will be opened to clients for leaving a review.

Rating scale

 

Choose the type of rating scale: 

  • 10-point scale. 
  • 5-point scale. 
  • Like/Dislike.

 

 

In the next field, you can set the threshold for a positive rating. Click on it and select a value from the drop-down list, such as 8 and above.

Attention! When selecting Like/Dislike, this field will be absent.

 

 

If the client selects a rating of 8 or higher in the mobile version, they will be directed to the Thanks for the good rating! page and can submit a review to the sources or website specified in the settings.

 

 

If the client selects a rating below 8, they will be directed to the We are sorry for your negative experience! page, where they need to provide their details and leave a text of the negative review.

The negative review will not be published in the sources and will not affect the rating of locations. This review will appear on the Negative Reviews page. More information about the Negative Reviews page can be found here.

 

 


 

Processing reviews

 

Next, choose which platforms will receive positive feedback from clients and which will receive negative feedback.

Positive reviews can be left:

  • In catalogs.
  • By custom link.

Negative reviews can be left:

  • In the feedback form.
  • In catalogs.
  • By custom link.

If you previously checked the box Do not collect ratings in the survey, there will be no distinction between sources for leaving positive and negative reviews, as in this case, the client does not leave a rating (on a 10/5 point scale or Like/Dislike) that our system can use to identify whether the client is positively or negatively inclined. In this case, it will be possible to choose directories or specify a link where the client can leave a review.

 

 

Platforms for positive feedback

 

To select the directories where customers will leave their reviews, hover the mouse over Add a Platform, select the source, or Add Link (for your service).

Attention! If companies have not yet been synchronized with any platform, users will not see a button for that catalog when leaving a positive review via QR code. After synchronization, it will appear in the existing QR code. There is no need to create a new set.

In the field for your link, specify the name of the button (that customers will click on) and the link to any of your pages or website, so that your customers can leave reviews there. You can also add a logo, which should not exceed 1 MB in size.

Attention!

  • If the option to provide a promo code for a review is selected, the promotion has not yet expired, and there are available one-time promo codes for submission, only links to catalogs will be displayed on the platform selection page for leaving a review.
  • If the option Bonus for Review is not selected or the conditions for submitting promo codes are not met (for example, the promotion has expired), both links to catalogs and your own links will be displayed on the platform selection page.

Please note that your own pages may reduce the conversion rate for leaving reviews and will not improve the ranking of your locations on maps.

 

After adding, you can rearrange the directories as needed. To do this, hold down the left mouse button on the six dots next to the directory and drag it. You can see how the services will be displayed on the preview page.

 

 


 

Platforms for negative reviews

 

For negative reviews, the feedback form will be selected by default. Instructions on how to configure it are described below in this article. 

 

 

Instead of the form, you can choose directories and add a button to the link. In this case, the Feedback Form Settings block will be unavailable.

Attention!

  • If the option to provide a promo code for a review is selected, the promotion has not yet expired, and there are available one-time promo codes for submission, only links to catalogs will be displayed on the platform selection page for leaving a review.
  • If the option Bonus for Review is not selected or the conditions for submitting promo codes are not met (for example, the promotion has expired), both links to catalogs and your own links will be displayed on the platform selection page.

 

 


 

How to set up sending bad reviews to email?

 

To have bad feedback sent to your email, click on the slider Send bad reviews to email and enter the required email address.
 
 

 

Automatically tag reviews

 

By default, this setting is enabled. In this case, reviews that come through QR codes or newsletters will be tagged with the corresponding tags on the Reviews page. You can read more about it here.

 

 


 

Design

 

In this step, you can customize the appearance of the pages for the user to leave a rating.

If you want your logo to be displayed on the pages, click on the corresponding field to upload it. 

Logo requirements:

  • Recommended format .PNG.
  • Maximum size 1 MB.

 

 

After uploading, you can adjust the height of the logo.

 

 

Next, select and adjust the color you need.

 

 

After making the settings, you can save them for future QR codes, if necessary. Check the corresponding box. 

 

 

The next time you create a new QR code, the saved settings will be displayed in the drop-down field at the beginning of the page. Click on the slider to apply the necessary setting. 

 

 


 

Bonus for review

 

You can set up the sending of promo codes to customers for reviews. This option is only available for reviews left on catalogs. To set this up, you first need to create a promo code. You can find out more about this here. After that, click on the toggle to Provide the customer with a promo code for a review.

  • If the promo code has already been created, select it in the Promo Code field.
  • In the field Promo Code is provided for, select the condition under which the promo code will be sent:
    • Positive Reviews. The promo code will be sent only to customers who have rated above the set threshold and submitted their review to the catalog.
    • Negative Reviews. The promo code will be sent only to customers who have rated below the set threshold. Such feedback is displayed on the Bad Reviews page of the personal account.
    • All Reviews. The promo code will be sent for both positive and negative reviews.
  • In the Promo code sending moment field, select when the promo code will be sent:
    • Review left in catalog. The promo code will be sent after the review passes moderation on the maps.
    • Rating selected in survey. The promo code will be sent immediately after the rating is selected in the survey.

 

 

If the user clicks on Skip, the promo code will not be sent to them.

How to set up the question text and rating scale?

 

Next, edit the question text if necessary.

Attention! 

  • First, specify a title for the question. Write the title text and click Enter. Now you can add the question text. Next, you can use Enter to move to a new line.
  • You can specify a link in the field in the format: [link name](url). For example, [link](https://rocketdata.io/).

To describe the rating scale, click on the corresponding field and enter explanations.

 

 

How to set up a response to positive and negative ratings?

 

In the following fields, you can edit the responses to positive and negative ratings. The page with the positive rating will be displayed to the customer if they give a rating equal to or above the set threshold. For negative ratings, it will be displayed if below the set threshold.

  • First, you need to specify the page title. To do this, write the title text and click Enter. Now you can add the reaction text. Next, you can use Enter to move to a new line.
  • You can specify a link in the field in the format: [link name](url). For example, [link](https://rocketdata.io/).

 

 

How to set up gratitude for positive and negative reviews?

 

To set up thank-you messages for positive and negative reviews, you need to edit the text in the fields for Thank you for the positive review and Thank you for the negative review.

Attention! 

  • First, you need to specify a page header. To do this, enter the header text and press Enter. Now you can add the text for the response to the feedback. Next, you can use Enter to move to a new line.
  • You can specify a link in the field in the format: [link name](url). For example, [link](https://rocketdata.io/).

 

 


 

To replace the field names that the user fills in when submitting a review, click on Feedback Form Settings. Fields with replacement text will appear in the dropdown list.

You can customize the display of fields:

  • If you want a field to be hidden from the user, click on the corresponding slider.
  • If you want a field to be optional, remove the corresponding checkbox.

Attention! If you enable the function of providing the customer with a promo code for a review, it will be impossible to disable the display of the Your email field, as the user must necessarily provide their contact information to receive the bonus.

In the Privacy Policy section, select the language in which the consent text for the processing of personal data will be displayed.

Attention!

  • The feedback form will be available with all fields if the option Feedback Form is selected in the Processing reviews section for negative reviews and the option Bonus for Review is inactive.
  • The feedback form will be unavailable if the option Catalogs or your links for negative reviews is selected in the Processing reviews section for negative reviews and the option Bonus for Review is inactive.
  • If the option Catalogs or your links for negative reviews is selected in the Processing reviews section for negative reviews and the option Bonus for Review is active, the feedback form will be missing the fields Label: Review Text, Placeholder: Review Text.
 

 

Settings for the company selection page

 

After saving the QR code, a unified code and a separate code for each company are generated for you. If clients scan the unified QR code, they will see a page where they can select the company to be evaluated.

In the Settings for the Company Selection Page block, you can edit:

  1. The title for the selection page.
  2. The text in the company search field.
  3. The text on the button to proceed to the next step.
  4. Company display style in the list:
    • Address.

    • Name.

    • Name with address.

  5. Displaying the comment for the address you provided on the Create Company page.
Attention! Any changes in companies (such as address, comments, etc.) for the personal account are updated every 24 hours. Therefore, it may happen that the data (comment or address) of the company has been changed, but the old information is still displayed in the preview or in the set of QR codes. Later, all data will be updated and displayed in the preview and the set of QR codes. In the survey itself, the data is transferred instantly and can be seen by following the QR code.
