In this article, you will learn the following information:


In this section, you can compare the effectiveness of your locations with those of competitors based on the Yandex catalog. This will help identify strengths and weaknesses, understand the market situation, and find areas for growth. Using this functionality, you can:

  • Understand how your locations compare to competitors.
  • See the potential increase in impressions, calls, and website visits.
  • Obtain aggregated metrics for all selected companies.
  • Download data for more in-depth analysis.

To access the page, click on Competitors in the menu and select Traffic Competitors from the dropdown list.

 

 


 

What comparison data for effectiveness are presented on the page?

 

Attention! The section displays companies with statuses Closed and Open. To view companies with a selected status, please use the filter at the top. You can find more information about it here.

At the top of the page, you will see overall information for all locations:

  • Average position — the arithmetic mean of all company positions over the last week.
    Attention!
    • If the value +2 is displayed next to the indicator and highlighted in red, it means the company's position has worsened by 2 places.
    • If the value -2 is displayed next to the indicator and highlighted in green, it means the company's position has improved by 2 places.
  • How many listings improved their positions — the count of locations where the position in search results has improved over the last week.
  • How many listings worsened their positions — the count of locations where the position has worsened over the last week.
  • Potential for impression growth — the possible increase in the number of impressions over a week.
  • Potential for call growth — the possible increase in the number of calls over a week.
  • Potential for website traffic growth — the possible increase in website visits over a week.

Next to each metric, its comparison with the previous week's value may be displayed. If it is shown in red, the value has decreased; if in green, it has increased.

Next, you can compare effectiveness individually for each location. The table includes the following data:

  • Traffic growth potential, % of current — how much the company's traffic could increase.
  • Potential additional views per week — how much the number of views could grow in a week.
  • Target rating value — the rating value that must be achieved for the company to become a leader.

The data in these columns can be sorted in descending or ascending order.

 

 


 

How to download a report in .xlsx format?

 

To export the effectiveness comparison statistics, click Download report in the upper right corner of the section. The requested report will be sent to your email in .xlsx format, using the email specified in your profile.

 

 


 

What data is included in the report?

 

The received report presents the following fields:

  • Company ID – the company's ID in BrandWizard.
  • Company name – the company's name in BrandWizard.
  • Full address – the company's full address in BrandWizard.
  • Code – the branch code in BrandWizard.
  • City – the city where the company is located.
  • How many extra views can be gained per week – the additional number of profile views that can be gained if the company reaches the first position.
  • Traffic growth potential of current (%) – how much the company's traffic can be increased.
  • Reviews amount – the total reviews of the company on Yandex Maps.
  • Target reviews value – the number of reviews required to become a leader.
  • How many reviews to attract – how many additional reviews are necessary to become a leader.
  • Sprav rating – the company's rating on Yandex Maps.
  • Target rating value – the rating value that needs to be achieved to become a leader.
  • How many points to increase rating – how many points the rating needs to be improved to become a leader.
  • Rating amount – the total ratings of the company on Yandex Maps.
  • Number of photos – the total photos uploaded to the company on Yandex Maps.
  • Target photos value – the number of photos that need to be uploaded to become a leader.
  • How many photos to upload – how many more photos need to be added to become a leader.
  • Number of products – the count of products uploaded to the company on Yandex Maps.
  • Number of promotions – the number of promotions uploaded to the company on Yandex Maps.
  • Position – the company’s position based on discoverer traffic share among competitors within a 1 km radius.
  • Position change – how many points the position has changed over a week.
  • Share of discoverer transitions – the percentage of discoverer transitions the company received out of all discoverer transitions by categories within a 1 km radius.
  • Competitor_n_Organization name – the name of the competitor occupying the 1st position.
  • Competitor_n_Permalink – link to the competitor on Yandex Maps.
  • Competitor_n_Goods amount – number of products uploaded to the competitor's profile on Yandex Maps.
  • Competitor_n_Has logo – indicates whether the competitor has a logo uploaded on Yandex Maps.
  • Competitor_n_Has owner – indicates whether the ownership of the competitor's profile is confirmed on Yandex Maps.
  • Competitor_n_Has promotions – shows whether promotions are uploaded for the competitor on Yandex Maps.
  • Competitor_n_Main rubric – the main category of the competitor on Yandex Maps.
  • Competitor_n_Share of discovery transitions – the portion of transitions the competitor received out of all discoverer transitions within a 1 km radius.
  • Competitor_n_Photos amount – number of photos uploaded to the competitor's profile on Yandex Maps.
  • Competitor_n_Position change – how many points the competitor's position has changed over a week.
  • Competitor_n_Promotions amount – number of promotions uploaded for the competitor on Yandex Maps.
  • Competitor_n_Reviews amount – number of reviews uploaded for the competitor on Yandex Maps.
  • Competitor_n_Sprav rating – the competitor's rating on Yandex Maps.
  • Competitor_n_Sprav rating amount – total ratings uploaded for the competitor on Yandex Maps.

Attention! If there is no data on competitors or the company is in the leading position, the recommendations (target values) will display a figure 10 points higher than your current result. Additionally, if the rating is below 4.5, the target value will be set to 4.5.
