Reviews analysis filters

The filter is end-to-end for all Reviews Analysis pages, i.e. when you configure  filters on any of the pages, they will be valid for the entire reviews analysis.  

To filter the reviews analysis, click on the Filter icon in the upper right corner of the page. 


 

On the right, the Filters window opens.

 

 


 

How to choose a time period for reviews analysis?

 


To choose a time period for which the reviews analysis will be shown, click on Start Date and End Date in the Time Period field. Then select the start and end dates from the drop-down list.

Attention! You can only select a period up to yesterday's date!

 

 


 

How to compare reviews analysis with a different time period?

 


To compare reviews analysis with a different time period, check the box next to Compare with Period. The additional Time Period field will appear. 


 

Next, in this field, click on the Start Date and End Date. Then select the start and end date of the period from the drop-down list.


 

If nothing is selected in the first Time Period field, then the data for the last 30 days will be compared with the data for the period that was selected in the second field.

How to compare reviews analysis with competitors?

 


Attention! This filter is available only for users who have a competitor connected. If you have questions about connecting competitors for their analysis, contact your personal manager. 

To view a comparison of the reviews analysis with competitors, check the box next to Compare with Competitor. The Select Competitor field will appear. 


 

To select a competitor, click on the Select Competitor field and select the desired one from the drop-down list.

How to filter reviews analysis by sentiment?

 


To filter reviews analysis by sentiment, click on the Sentiments field, and select positive, undefined, neutral or negative reviews from the drop-down list.


 


 

How to filter reviews analysis by source?

 


To view the report on reviews for a specific site, click on the Sources field and select the necessary one from the drop-down list. 


 


 

How to filter reviews analysis by keywords and topic?

 


To view the report on reviews with certain keywords, click on the Keywords field and start entering the word. Then select the keywords you need from the drop-down list.


 

To view the report on reviews with certain topics, click on the Topics field and start entering the word. Then select the topic you need from the drop-down list.


 


 

How to filter reviews analysis by custom tag?

 

User-defined tags are those created by you in the Tags section (more about it here) and manually applied to reviews in the Reviews section.

In this field, you can start typing the names of tags and select the necessary ones — the review analytics will be sorted based on the reviews to which these tags have been added.

 

 


 

How to filter review analysis by aspects?

 

Aspects in reviews are specific characteristics, topics, or elements of a product/service that are mentioned in the review text. They help to better understand exactly what the user liked or disliked. Aspects are stored as automatic tags.

In this field, you can start typing the names of aspects and select the ones you need — the review analytics will be sorted by the reviews that mentioned the selected aspects in their text.

 

 


 

How to filter reviews analysis by rating?

 


To view the report on reviews with a certain rating, click on the Rates field and select the rating you need from the drop-down list.


 


 

How to filter the response time format for reviews?

 

In this field, you can select the format for calculating the response time to reviews: days, hours, or minutes.

 

 

After filtering, you will see the change in format in the Response delay field.

 

 


 

How to view a report on reviews with text/without text/with an answer/without an answer?

 

In the Content of reviews filter:

  • If you need statistics on reviews with text, click the first button.
  • If you need statistics on reviews without text, click the second button. 


 

In the Replies to reviews filter:

  • If you need statistics on reviews with responses, click the first button.
  • If you need statistics on reviews without responses, click the second button.

 

 

In the next field:

  • If you need statistics on reviews that can be responded to, click Yes.
  • If you need statistics on reviews that cannot be responded to, click No.

 

 


 

How to filter data by review type?

 

In the Review type field, you can select which reviews will be displayed in the analysis: reviews left only on brands or on the company. By default, branded reviews are included in the calculations. Additionally, when selecting a specific company in the upper filter, only reviews of that company will be taken into account.

 

 


 

How to account for deleted reviews in the analysis?

 

By default, deleted reviews are not included in the analysis. If you want to include deleted reviews, change the filter setting to Yes.

 

 

After selecting filters, click on Apply.
