The command bar is an important feature in Multichat that boosts productivity. It allows you to perform many actions with just a few keystrokes. To open the command bar, use ⌘ + K on macOS or Ctrl + K on Windows and Linux from anywhere in the Multichat dashboard.
Once opened, you can select a specific page for quick navigation or choose an action to perform. The command bar also provides smart action suggestions depending on your current location in the dashboard. For example, if you open the command bar from the conversations section, it will show actions related to chats, such as snooze or resolve.
Navigating to a page using the command bar
The command bar allows you to quickly go to a page such as Settings, Reports, and more. Start typing the name of the page and press Enter — you will be redirected to it.

Performing actions with a conversation through the command bar
The command bar takes into account your current location in the dashboard and suggests actions to improve efficiency and speed. You can perform operations with a chat such as resolving/reopening, snoozing, or assigning specific agents or labels — all done through simple search.
Available commands:
- Resolve conversation.
- Snooze conversation.
- Mute conversation.
- Send an email transcript.
- Assign an agent.
- Assign a team.
- Add label to the conversation.
- Assign priority.
Example: Assigning an agent
- Open the command bar.
- Type Assign an agent and press Enter.
- Select the agent you want to assign to this conversation.
