The results of the position tracking are presented in a convenient table listing all locations from the two main sources. The date of tracking is displayed on the left.
Dynamics (how the indicator has changed to the previous collection) is also displayed in the table next to the position number in the output:
- The green arrow means that the position of the location in the output has risen, and the number next to it - by how many points.
- The red arrow means that the position of the location in the output has decreased, and the number next to it - by how many points.
Attention! If the company position number in the output is more than 21 points, 21+ will be displayed in the field.
To find out the results of the pickups in more detail, click on the Date and Time field of the selected company.
The Pickup Results page opens (the date will be indicated). The name and address of the company are displayed at the top. To see the pickup results of the given location for other dates, use arrows in the right top corner of the page.
Next there will be a Platform station where a map with a grid is shown. The grid consists of the points from which the search for queries was performed. The selected location is in the center.
- The grid pitch can be: 100m, 500m, 1000m, 1500m.
- The grid sizes: 3х3, 5х5, 7х7, 9х9, 11х11.
- To change the size or pitch, you need to contact your account manager.
The queries themselves, for which the company has been displayed for users in the output, are indicated above the map. To view the pickup on other queries, click on the required.
The data can also be viewed across different catalogs: Google Search, Yandex Search, Google Maps, and Yandex Maps. Each source has its own characteristics regarding the display of search results:
- Google Search and Yandex Search:
- Position 21+ is displayed regardless of whether your company was found or not, and it does not depend on whether competitors were found or not.
- If no competitors and no location are found, the location is displayed as 21+.
- If no competitors are found but the location is found, it is shown at the position where it was found (only one position).
- A point is marked as "collection error" (gray cross) if there were more than three unsuccessful collection attempts or more than five request errors from Google/Yandex search.
- Google Maps:
- A point is marked as empty (gray cross) if after three collection attempts, results were empty (fewer than or equal to 2 results), or if the distance to one of the top 5 results is ≥ 50 km.
- The point is also marked as gray cross if there were more than three unsuccessful collection attempts or more than five request errors from Google Maps.
- Yandex Maps:
- Position 21+ is displayed regardless of whether your company was found or not, and it does not depend on whether competitors were found or not.
- If no competitors and no location are found, the location is shown as 21+.
- If no competitors are found but the location is found, it appears under the position where it was found (only one position).
- A point is marked as “collection error” (gray cross) if there were more than three unsuccessful collection attempts or more than twenty request errors from Yandex Maps.
In the center of the dot, the serial number under which this company has been displayed in the search will be specified. The colors of the dots show in which interval the location is in the output, the same way as in the Position Distribution chart:
- The green color shows positions from 1 to 4.
- Light green - from 5 to 9.
- Yellow - from 10 to 14.
- Orange - from 15 to 19.
- Red - from 20 and up.
Attention! If the company position number in the output is more than 21 points, 21+ will be displayed in the field.
- If a gray dot is displayed, it means that a failure has occurred and the results will not be available.
- If blue is displayed, it means that the dot has been taken into operation and the data will be displayed soon.
When you hover the mouse cursor over the dot, a window with the first three positions in the output will be displayed, as well as the position of the company itself, if it is not in the top 3.
When you click on the dot, the Results window for “query” will appear, where the search output will be displayed. The selected company is highlighted and displayed at the top of the list with the position number.
In addition, information is displayed on the distance of all companies from the dot where the request was made, their rating, the number of reviews and link to the location.
When you hover your mouse cursor over the company name, its category in the directory will be displayed.
What is shown in the results of the surveys by requests, you can find out further.
