- For which companies is location creation on the map unavailable?
If you have 10 or more branches, you can undergo mass Google account verification. This allows you to quickly and efficiently verify all your locations at once, rather than individually. New branches that appear in the future will be listed in Google Maps without additional verification, as the verification is given for the entire brand.
Additionally, when resolving disputed situations (for example, restoring lost rights to listings), preference is also given to verified accounts, since they are already recognized as official representatives of the business.
How to verify a Google account in bulk?
We will help you with this: we will submit an application to Google, after which the account will be confirmed, and all the data we have sent automatically appears in Google maps.
- Before start linking, you need to check if the Google account and the company in it meet the directory requirements of the catalog. More details about this are described in this article in the section Requirements for bulk account verification.
- In order for us to send a request to confirm your account, you need to create a group of addresses for the company and appoint an administrator. You can read more about how to do this here.
After granting the permissions, inform the BrandWizard manager about it. Also, send him an email address where Google can send the confirmation. Only the company owner or an authorized representative can verify the company's information. Therefore, for bulk verification, it is recommended to use an account on a corporate email address associated with the business domain (for example, support@brandwizard.io for the website brandwizard.io). Email addresses not related to the company's official domain require additional steps and time.
Once the account and website are prepared for bulk verification with the help of personal managers, a request is sent to Google Support to verify the account in bulk. The support team then reviews the request.
To prove the existence of the business, Google Support may require a video confirmation (via video recording or a video meeting). Typically, the number of video meetings ranges from 5 to 10 and usually does not exceed 20.
During the account verification process, Google Support may also request additional information and/or require correction of some errors and inaccuracies, primarily concerning the information in the listings and on the official website.
After submitting the application, the BrandWizard manager will notify you. You will receive an email from Google, to which you will need to respond with the following text:
Hi,
Yes, I confirm that they are associated with our domain and have permission to manage the Business Profiles. And we consent to this process taking place. Please proceed with the verification.
Thank you!
What needs to be done to maintain bulk account verification?
To ensure that bulk verification continues to work, the basic information in the account must remain unchanged regarding main and additional categories, website links, and the primary owner. Changing these verified data points to other information may lead to incorrect operation of bulk verification or disablement.
After modifying core listing details (name, address, categories), re-verification may be necessary.
It is also important to keep the data current both in the listings and on the official business website.
If the account status changes, an email notification will be sent to allow timely updates or improvements to the account.
Requirements for bulk account verification
The locations must meet the following requirements:
- According to the official website, 10 or more branches of the same company with the same name must be added to the Google Business Profile. The website should contain information about all brand locations.
Attention! If you have difficulties publishing information about your company on your website, you can use our Location Map (Store Locator) service for your website. To find out more about its activation, please contact your personal account manager at BrandWizard. - Companies do not violate the Google Business Information Guidelines.
- There are no errors in the account. You can learn more about the errors here.
- Profiles have been created for all relevant business branches in the account.
- Your company has not specified a service area.
- The account has not been verified yet.
- The account must have at least 1 address in the Verification Required status and there should be no locations in Duplicate/Blocked/Closed and Temporarily closed status.
- In all profiles, a single account is listed as the primary owner, which will receive mass verification.
- Each profile must have its own branch code (there should be no empty fields). The branch code must be unique for each company.
- The same primary category is specified for each location.
Attention! If brand companies have different categories and names, then separate accounts must be created for each category, and the information in them must correspond to other listed rules. - An official website identical for all addresses has been added to the Information section.
- The information in the profiles corresponds to the data on the official website regarding addresses and phone numbers (they must match completely).
Attention! If there is only a call center phone number for contacting the company, an additional number should be added (only one number is displayed on the map, so an additional number will not be published in the company card, but it will allow you to successfully pass mass verification). - Photos of the building facade have been added, taken in such a way that the signboard, logo or sign with the name of your company is visible. More details about the signboard are described in this instruction below.
Attention! When adding new locations to the account, they must have signboard images.
To launch a mass account verification, it is important to comply with all the above items. Our managers check for compliance and provide recommendations for missing data. In addition, you must have an email address registered in the website domain, which Google can use to contact network representatives to confirm the launch of mass account verification.
Signboard
A signboard is a permanent structure intended to identify a client's location in the area. A sign is necessary to confirm the existence of a client's business at a specified address.
NOT considered a sign:
- A stand on the ground.
- A sticker on a glass surface.
- An A4 sheet in a folder (or laminated).
- An advertising banner.
Since a sign is one of the proofs of a company's existence, the name on the card must match what is indicated on the sign. Therefore, the name on the sign should comply with the placement rules for information in directories. For example, a structure indicating the category, such as large letters "Products" or "Tobacco" on the building facade, does not qualify as a sign.
Minimum requirements:
- Size: A3, thickness from 5 mm.
- Materials: wood, plastic, metal, glass.
- The main visual guideline: the sign should appear as a permanent structure.
- The text on the sign should be readable.
The sign must have the highest visual priority relative to adjacent advertising structures and informational displays.
