How to check the feed and import companies into the personal account?

To import companies into your account, click on Import and Export in the upper right corner, then click on Companies Import.

 

 

The Validation and import of companies page will open. You can import the feed from a link or from a file. 

Attention! Importing from two sources simultaneously is not possible!

 On the right, there are samples and templates for feeds that you can download:

• BrandWizard JSON Schema is a schema that explain fields, their types, etc.
• BrandWizard JSON is the feed template for import.
• BrandWizard CSV is an Excel file template for import.
  CSV is a format that allows data to be presented in a text form in a spreadsheet.

 

 

 

Next, select the data format.

Attention! You can upload CSV and Excel feeds both by link and from a file. To upload by link, you need to insert a link to the file stored on your server in the feed URL field.

 

 

After that, select the brand for which you need to upload the feed.

Attention! Filling in the Brand field for import is mandatory!

 

 

If necessary, you can add more brands.

Attention! Several brands can only be specified for a JSON feed.

 

 

Attention! When adding multiple brands, specify the corresponding code for each brand in the feed. The brand code in the feed should be indicated in the brand_code field. Without this field, validation and import of multiple brands are not possible. 

 

 

Then click on Validate and Import.

 

 

After that, the Companies Import section will display essential import information: the number of companies ready for import and the number with errors; data source, format, and brands.

If everything is fine, a block will appear on the right indicating Data is Ready to be Import. If you want to update them automatically, check the corresponding box. We will update the feed daily and import company data into your account.

Then click on Confirm Import.

 

 

In the next section, you can view the results of the data validation and download any errors, if they exist.

Attention! If there are too many errors in the export, the file will be split into parts. You will receive several emails with the data.

 

 

If the feed has errors, their description will be displayed in the results:

• If there are critical errors in the company, it will not be imported. 
• If only non-critical errors are found, the company will be imported without the error fields.

To learn more about the errors, click on the eye icon or on each field separately.

 

 

The opened window will show: 

• The company name and address for which an error was found.
  Attention! The number displayed next to the name is not the branch code, but the serial number of the company in the feed.
• Branch code.
• Catalog.
• Field in which there is an error.
