- How to add/edit categories for a specific catalog?
Categories are necessary for better visibility of the company in search results, as users may search for your business based on them. The more categories specified, the more category-based queries the search engine will display your listings for.
To quickly go to the Categories section, you need to click on the corresponding field in the menu on the right on the Create/Edit company page.
Attention! For the 2GIS catalog, if a company does not have a house number, street, description, and its category is not included in the list (Gas stations, ATMs, info kiosks, infocommunication terminals, kiosks/fast food stores, mobile gas stations, payment terminals, fast food products, fast food products - wholesale), the company will be considered an online organization. Online organizations are companies on the maps without a complete address, only indicating the service area (e.g., only the region/area/city). Such companies are linked to the catalog just like regular companies: without any issues.

To select, click on the Search Categories field and start entering, for instance, a car wash. From the drop-down list, select the desired one, for instance, Auto repair/Auto Supplies > Car repair > Car wash.
Attention! When adding, you should first specify the main category, and the rest in descending order of relevance.
The main category is marked with an asterisk, it can be changed. To do this, click on the edit icon.
Then enter a new one in the field.
After entering several categories, all of them, except the main one, can be sorted by dragging with the mouse.
To delete one of them, click on the Delete icon.
How to add/edit categories for a specific catalog?
After entering categories in the Search Categories field, they will be selected automatically for each of the catalogs according to their requirements.
Attention! Only those services that are available for the company's country will be displayed.
Categories are specified for the main sources: Facebook, Apple maps, Navitel, OpenStreetMap, 2GIS (URBI), Google Business Profile, HERE maps, TomTom, Yandex Maps.
For each service, their number is different:

Facebook supports up to 3 categories.

Apple maps supports an unlimited number of categories.

2GIS (URBI) supports an unlimited number of categories.

Navitel supports 1 category for a card.

OpenStreetMap supports 1 category for a card.

Google Business Profile supports up to 10 categories.

HERE maps supports an unlimited number of categories.

TomTom supports an unlimited number of categories.
- Yandex Maps supports up to 3 categories.
Attention! If your company has paid placement on Yandex, up to 5 categories will be available. If you have added 5 categories but only 3 are displayed in the Yandex Maps section, please contact your manager.
To look at the categories selected for a particular source, you need to click on the selected catalog.
To edit categories for a particular service, click on Edit.

Then click on the edit icon that appears next to the main category.
Next, enter new data in the Search Categories field.
To delete the changes, click on Reset Settings.
