Actions with contacts | How to add attributes, notes, view message history, and merge contacts?

You can perform specific actions with a contact. To see these actions, click on View details.

 

 

A page for the selected contact will open. Here, you can:

  • Edit contact details.
  • Delete or block the contact.
  • Add tags.
  • Add attributes.
  • View the contact's message history.
  • Add notes.
  • Merge contacts.

What are attributes and how to create them can be found here.

On the detailed contact view page, in the right panel, go to the Attributes tab. There you will see the created attributes for contacts. Fill in the necessary attribute according to its type (list, checkbox, text, etc.).

 

 


 

How to view the message history of a contact?

 

On the detailed contact view page, in the right panel, go to the History tab. You will see the conversations of this contact. By clicking on the chat, it will open in the Conversations section, where you can view the entire correspondence with the contact.

 

 


 

How to add notes about contacts?

 

You can add notes and important information about a specific contact, such as recording a call, email, or meeting.

To add notes, in the right panel, go to the Notes tab. Write your note and click the Save Note button.

 

 


 

How to merge two contacts?

 

You can merge two contacts belonging to the same user. To do this:

  • Go to the detailed view of the contact you want to make secondary.
  • Then, in the right panel, go to the Merge tab.
  • Now, select the primary contact that will be kept. The contact you are currently in will be deleted.
  • Click Merge Contacts.

Please note: in case of conflicting attributes, the attributes of the primary contact will have priority.
