How to create/edit a set of QR codes?

Content:

Before creating QR codes, you need to create a survey.

On the Create a set of QR codes and customize behavior page you can:

  • Set up attracting only positive reviews to the company cards in the sources.
  • Set up attracting reviews via QR codes.
  • Set up sending bad reviews to Email.

On the Generated sets of QR Codes page that opens, click on the button with a plus sign.

The Create QR Code set page will open.

Fields marked with asterisk (*) are mandatory.

To edit the already created QR codes, you need to click on the three dots in the field of the required set and select Edit.

The page Edit QR Code set will open.

Attention!

  • If the company for which the QR code was created has closed, it will be automatically deleted.
  • When editing the set, you can only change the fields that will be displayed on the page. They are similar to the fields when creating QR codes. It will not be possible to edit the locations! To do this, you need to create a new set of QR codes. However, if the company changes its address or name, this information will be updated in the QR codes.

Main information

To create/edit a QR code, start by adding a name for the set of QR codes.

In the next field, select the survey template that customers will see when leaving a review.

After selecting the survey, a preview window will appear on the page. It will show how customers will see the pages for leaving ratings and reviews when scanning the QR code.

If you select a survey that has quick access to the company card set up, the preview window will not be displayed.

To switch the preview pages on the phone back and forth, you need to click on the arrows located on both sides of the preview.

Next, select the companies for which the customer can leave a review. You will only have access to select companies of the brand that was specified when creating the survey.

Attention! When editing the set, you can only change the fields that will be displayed on the page. They are similar to the fields when creating QR codes. It will not be possible to edit the locations! To do this, you need to create a new set of QR codes.

In the opened window, select the desired companies from the list and click Finish. Companies that are closed or have an expired license will not be displayed.

To find the desired company, you can use the search field by name, address or code, as well as filters by: groups, companies (With QR codes/Without QR codes) and rating. For companies that already have a QR code created, the corresponding icon will be displayed in the field.

Attention! You cannot choose a company of a different brand, as you can only select companies of the brand that was indicated during the creation of the survey.

You can view the already selected companies to understand which locations are still missing. To do this, check the box for Show only selected companies.

If the necessary companies were sorted in the top filter, they can be selected by clicking on Select from common filter. More information about this filter can be found here

To proceed to the design settings, click Continue.

Design settings

At this step, you can create your design for the QR code and add a logo.

First, choose the style of the QR code, i.e., what shape it will be. For example, the code can be in the form of squares or circles. You can see the changes in the preview window.

Then you can choose the color. If you need a monochrome code, you can select only one color. You can also customize a gradient. For this, choose two colors.

Select the type of gradient. It can be linear or radial. For the linear type, there is an option to adjust the gradient rotation. You will see all changes in the preview window.

You can add your logo to the QR code.

After uploading, you can adjust the size and also remove it.

After filling in the fields, click on Save and download the set.

Attention! You don't need to click on Save and download the set again after editing the QR code set, as the changes will be automatically applied. If you click on Save and download the set again, you will be prompted to download the same set again. If you don't need to do that, simply close the download window. The changes will be saved and valid.

After this, an email will be sent containing 2 links:

  • Standard Archive: In this version, each QR code is placed in a separate folder, named according to the QR code’s ID and the company’s address. This may be convenient if you need to organize the codes by physical locations.
  • Simplified Archive: All QR codes are located directly in the root folder. The name of each file includes the company’s address, making identification easier. Also, in this archive, you will find an Excel file with a list of all QR codes and the links encoded in them.

Attention! The link is valid for 10 days. If you have not managed to upload the QR codes, you need to click on the three dots in the field of the required set of QR codes and select Download.

How to access the survey and copy its link, you can find out further.
