How to add/edit photos and videos?

In this article, you will get acquainted with the following information:

 

How to upload a photo?

 

To add a photo, click on Upload photo and select an image. The gallery is sent to Google, Yandex, and 2GIS (URBI).

Requirements for photos for the gallery and for each catalog separately:

For the gallery
  • Min. 720 × 720 pixels.
  • Max. 3000 × 3000 pixels.
  • The size of the photos should be from 10 KB to 10 MB.
  • Format: png, jpg, jpeg.
Google
  • The size of the photos should be from 10 KB to 5 MB.
  • File extension should be JPG, PNG.
  • Min. 720 × 720 pixels.
  • Max. 3000 × 3000 pixels.
  • The width of the photo should not exceed the length by more than 2 times.
2GIS(URBI)
  • The size of the photos should be from 10 KB to 10 MB.
  • File extension: JPG (JPEG).
  • Min. 600 × 600 pixels.
  • Max. 7000 × 7000 pixels.
  • The photo proportions shall not exceed 1:5 on any sides.
Yandex
  • The size of the photos should be from 10 KB to 10 MB.
  • File extension: JPEG.
  • Min. 720 × 720 pixels.
  • Max. 3000 × 3000 pixels.

  • Up to 500 images can be uploaded per location.

 

Please note! When uploading a photo that is not in JPEG format and exceeds the maximum allowed size, the image will be automatically processed:

  • It will be converted to JPEG format.
  • The image size will be adjusted to meet the specified requirements.

 

 

To delete or view a photo, click on the three dots and select Delete or Show, respectively.

 

 

To upload to the Google Business Profile catalog, use images up to 5MB in size — or set a separate image for Google Business Profile in the catalog settings.

 

 

 

How to upload a video?


To add a video, click on Upload video and choose the desired file. Uploaded videos will be published on Yandex Maps. Soon, we will add the option to send videos to other catalogs as well.

Video requirements:

  • Resolution from 360 to 1080.
  • Size up to 100 MB, up to 60 seconds.
  • Format mp4, mov.

 

 

To delete or view a video, click on the three dots and select Delete or Watch, respectively.

 

 

 

How to configure photo uploads for different catalogs?

 

You can add individual photos only for Google, Yandex and 2GIS (URBI). To do this, click on Configure catalogs. This button will become available only after uploading the image in the main field.

 

 

The Catalog picker window opens, where you should check the boxes for the necessary services, then click on Add.

Attention! You can select only those catalogs that are available for the company's country.

 

 

Additional fields for each of the selected catalogs will appear.

 

 

If one service has been selected, then to add another one, click on the icon located next to the source. The Catalog picker window opens.

 

 

If there is no need to add separate information for the catalog, then click on Remove Settings.

 

 

A window opens where you need to click on Confirm.
